On July 26, 2022 some Smartsheet users experienced slow loading of sheets. This was the result of a Smartsheet app deployment from the previous day which contained a performance regression. The performance regression was introduced by a bug fix to address a null pointer exception, which then exposed an inefficient loop algorithm where there are circular dependencies between project tasks. The release was rolled back to the last stable version which resolved the issue.
