Smartsheet Intermittent Connectivity

On February 7th 2024 at 11:39am, there were initial customer and monitoring reports of slowness or intermittent timeouts when accessing Smartsheet assets. The error appeared when users loaded or saved sheets, reports and dashboards as well as accessing those features.  There was no data loss and customers who were already in the application were able to eventually complete their tasks.  The root cause was identified and action was taken to correct it.
